Designer Italo Zucchelli, VOGUE's fashion market and accessories director Virginia Smith, basketball player Dwyane Wade and designer Francisco Costa attend Calvin Klein Celebrates Fashion's Night Out at the store's Madison Avenue flagship.
Who doesn't appreciate an athlete who cleans up, and cleans up well, especially in Calvin Klein? Pictured left to right at the brands FNO party are Brad Richards of the New York Rangers, J.R. Smith of the Knicks, designer Francisco Costa, boxer Amir Khan, Olympic medalist Ryan Lochte, Designer Italo Zucchelli, and Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade.
Calvin Klein juxtaposed athletes with models at Fashion's Night Out, in a very Anna Wintour approved way. Though the editor in chief stopped by early in the evening, the party kept going as Dwayne Wade and J.R. Smith held court along with Angela Lindvall, Liu Wen, and Karen Elson. Amidst the fashion meets sports perfection, Italo Zucchelli expressed his feelings towards the night by saying, "This is crazy, but it's amazing!" We couldn't agree more. (left to right: designer Italo Zucchelli, basketball star Dwyane Wade, VOGUE editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, designer Francisco Costa, and Calvin Klein President and CEO Tom Murry.)
In a continuation of their 111th anniversary, the department store hosted an epic duo - Anna Wintour alongside Victoria Beckam, signing copy after copy of the September issue of Vogue!
Though the line outside Bergdorf Goodman seemed overwhelming, the inside was orderly and enjoyable. Tumblr's mascot Tommy Pom was situated like a prince on a pedestal, calmly posing for photo after photo, including one very excited Linda Fargo.
Gilles Mendel kept things classy on Fashion's Night Out. The designer brought out a troop of prima ballerinas to twirl in his Madison Avenue windows. Clad in glamorous J. Mendel dresses, the dancers gracefully performed for all passersby. Model Andrea Lindvall was all too happy to wait outside on line and take in the captivating scene and we were right there beside her!
Although American designer Michael Kors took a karaoke route for his Fashion's Night Out bash, he took time out for a photo opp with some of his celeb attendees. He's centered here, joined by actresses Nina Arianda, Debra Messing and Nikki Reed, and model Kate Upton.
Famed photographer Victor Demarchelier snapped portraits of guests amid the Michael Kors FNO celebration. We're sure they turned out great — Demarchelier, son of French fashion photographer Patrick Demarchelier, has lensed for international editions and campaigns VOGUE, Harper's Bazaar, Allure, Interview, Wonderland, and Hudson Jeans.
Singer Jessica Jarrell serenading the crowd at Michael Kors' NYC flagship.
Style stewards Anouck Lepere, Anya Ziourova, Elena Pernenova, Leandra Medine, and Miroslava Dum (l to r) feted Ferragamo's Fall/Winter 2012 collection during its Fashion's Night Out soirée. The party was themed after the line's Russian-inspired pieces from creative director Massimiliano Giornetti, which include dark, sultry, and moody tones for the couture-crafted vamp.
Russian New Wave band Tesla Boy made one of their first stateside appearances for the "...With Love" affair at Salvatore Ferragamo. Lead singer Anton Sevidov told Forbes that the band was thrilled to wear the line's fall gear because it offered "a blend of dark, urban design with sleek European silhouettes."
VOGUE Japan's editor-at-large Anna Dello Russo proves to be a standout in a white, gold-gilded dress at Ferragamo's flagship during FNO. She's joined by the evening's hosts, (l to r) Anya Ziourova, Miroslava Duma, and Elena Perminova.
Gold medalist Ryan Lochte made another FNO appearance at The New Museum for Supra's "Royal" collection celebration (sadly, no diamond-studded grill this time). Also in attendance were Jennifer Missoni (yes, heiress to that Italian label), rapper Prodigy of Mobb Deep, actress Zuleikha Robinson, and Supra cool kid Corey Kennedy.
BET host Rocsi Diaz ("106 & Park") and rapper/producer Q-Tip (formerly of A Tribe Called Quest) kept Supra's FNO bash rocking behind the DJ booth. Diaz opted for a Marciano top, Zara print pant, and shoes by Giuseppe Zanotti — the perfect blend of casual chic for Supra's "Royal" celebration.
Diane von Furstenberg, queen of the wrap dress, celebrated Fashion's Night Out with the ladies during her Rendez-vous themed party. Solange Knowles, Lady D, Allison Williams (from HBO's GIRLS), and Meredith Melling Burke of VOGUE, took to von Furstenberg's staircase at her Meatpacking store in head-to-toe DVF, of course! Mayor Michael Bloomberg, CFDA CEO Steven Kolb, and Olympian Allyson Felix, also stopped by.
Solange Knowles is a woman of many hats: mom, musician, fashion star, NEXT model, and DVF DJ. She kept von Furstenberg's FNO fete rocking all night, and looked just as amazing in the astro storm and eclipse hued Jaime dress from DVF Resort 2013.
Fern Mallis, the lady regarded as the force who started New York Fashion Week, did a live Saks interview with Lance Bass for "Fashion Insiders," her Sirius FM series. They posed alongside designer Erin Fetherston who greeted fans during their Edward Tricomi bang trims.
Fern's "Fashion Insiders" didn't stop there. She was also joined by BCBG's dynamic business and design duo: husband-and-wife Max Azria and Lubov Azria.
In between Darren Criss autographing copies of September VOGUE and Amar'e Stoudemire assigning his John Hancock to his children's book "STAT #1: Home Court," the two posed with fashion authority Anna Wintour.
Kim Kardashian launched her new fragrance, True Reflection, during Lord & Taylor's Fashion's Night Out Party alongside company president, Bonnie Brooks. Kim seems to be enjoying her Tom Ford moment (Google her white Tom Ford backless look for the 2012 BET Awards), wearing a dress and belt from his Fall 2012 collection with shoes from Gianvito Rossi.
Who looks this good after giving birth to baby number two just four months ago? Alessandra Ambrosio, that's who. Here she is looking lovely — and leggy — at the Victoria's Secret SoHo shop, wearing nude Swarovski-studded "Vague" sandals from Sergio Rossi.
Kelly Cutrone, Shopbop fashion director Kate Ciepulch, and Whitney Port opted for an FNO shoe soirée with Nine West where Ciepulch celebrated her Vintage America shoe and accessories collection for the company.
Erica Domesek of "P.S. I Made This..." fame stopped by Fossil's Time Square flagship to give fashion advice and show them how to make some DIY accessories using Fossil keys.
In case you didn't know, there's no party like a Fashion's Night Out party. Lucky for us, Glam editors were on hand at some of New York City's chicest, celebrity-filled events for the fourth annual New York Fashion Week kick-off. We rubbed elbows with the who's-who of fashion and entertainment at venues from Salvatore Ferragamo to Fifth Avenue's Lord & Taylor, while leaving plenty of room to dance the night way at DVF in Meatpacking with Solange Knowles. It was certainly a night for style seekers to remember. Take a look!Read More ↓
