Show: Up All Night (NBC)

Danner has shown time and again that she has serious comedic skill in films like Meet the Parents and TV shows like Will and Grace . She's back on the Peacock network as mother to Christina Applegate's Reagan. The show has just been picked up for a full season so here's hoping we'll be seeing a lot of Danner's character.

When: TBA
Show: American Horror Story (FX)

Actors crave challenging roles and Stonestreet is proving that as he goes from playing Cam on Modern Family to playing a mental patient who's afraid of Urban Legends, specifically the Pigman. It sounds insane and after watching the scary show's series premiere, we can guess it'll be exactly that... and we mean that in the best way.

When: November
Show: 30 Rock (NBC)

We've learned that when Tina Fey's Liz Lemon gets a boyfriend, chances are he will be gorgeous but also, to put it lightly, crazy... in some way or another. Rumors that Marsden will play Lemon's new beau aren't confirmed but it's more than likely that he is and will have a ridiculous negative trait that drives Lemon crazy.

When: TBA
Show: The Office (NBC)

Groban has proven to be more than just a fantastic singer thanks to a great supporting role in Crazy, Stupid, Love . Now he'll really shine on this popular sitcom playing the brother of Ed Helms' Andy. The two share a tense sibling rivalry and we can only dream that their competition will come down to some sort of sing-off.

When: October 13th
Show: New Girl (Fox)

Two adorkable stars unite on this hit new comedy. Long will appear in three episodes as a short-term love interest for Zooey Deschanel's Jess. As a music teacher, it won't be difficult for his character to find his way into Jess' heart, considering how much she loves to sing. We hope for a weird, nerdy relationship- however short it may be.

When: November 2
Show: How I Met Your Mother (CBS)

For fans of the show, this news will be music to their ears. For those who aren't, brace yourselves. Holmes will guest star as the infamous "Slutty Pumpkin." For years, fans of the hit sitcom have waited to put a face to the promiscuous name. It'll be nice to see this Dawson's Creek fan fave do some comedy for a change.

When: The Halloween Episode- October 31st
Show: Modern Family (ABC)

The funny woman behind hilarious movies like Knocked Up and The 40-Year-Old Virgin is guest starring as a victim of seduction from Eric Stonestreet's Cam. We know what you're thinking, "Isn't Cam gay?" And yes he is, but this flirtation is brought on by a bet that Cam can't pass as a straight man. We can't wait to see if he wins.

When: November
Show: Chuck (NBC)

This model-turned actress has a wide, strange array of roles under her belt. A blue shape-shifting mutant, a transvestite, a witch, and now she can add villainous CIA agent to that list. She'll turn heads, kick butt and provide a major headache for Zachary Levi's titular character.

When: December 2nd
Show: Cougartown (ABC)

Chalke made quite a splash as the neurotic Eliot on the doctor-comedy Scrubs . She'll cross into Courtney Cox's territory as a potential love interest for Bobby Cobb, the ex-husband turned good friend of Cox's character Jules. Considering how overprotective Jules can get, Chalke better get ready for a world of crazy.

When: TBA
Show: Psych (USA)

T.J. Hooker, Captain Kirk, Denny Crane and now con man? That's what's next for this iconic TV star who is guest starring on the hit screwball comedy. Shatner will play dad to Maggie Lawson's cop Juliet O'Hara. They have a strained relationship which he wants to mend- until the perfect con falls right into his lap.
