"Fearless" – Max Azria
“My Spring 2013 collection was inspired by the Dream Ballet as performed by the American Ballet Theatre. When I watched their performance, I was immediately taken with the costumes worn by the dancers. The way each layer of colored tulle blended together as the dancers moved across the stage was beautiful and captivating. I wanted this collection to feel like that – romantic, feminine and delicate – but also modern enough to be wearable for women today.” – Christian Siriano
"Layers that Bond the Eye" – Max Azria
Surf Sophistication: Jenni Kayne Spring 2013 is an evolution of resort; elements of surf culture mixed in with urban sportswear. Silhouettes are lean and razor sharp, and separates are key. The Jenni Kayne girl has a way of borrowing from the boys to make things her own, and this season she does that with color and texture. Unexpected color combinations, an ethnic inspired print, and bold stripes in varying widths complete the look for spring.
"From the Ottoman Empire and hydraulic fracking came this lush, magically elegant, romantic, diaphanous, colorful Bloomsbury-esque emotion." – Johnson Hartig
“Unexpected dreamland, eclectically whimsical.” – Rachel Roy
"I was influenced not just by the people in this photo but also the light. Light is very important how it effects color and print." – Rebecca Minkoff
“A Punk Princess lost in the Czars' Library.” – Brian Wolk and Claude Morais
"5 Elements of Life." – Vivienne Tam
“My notion of nature really represents an organic and untouched environment, which my collection this season comes into conversation with.” -- Yigal Azrouël
