The Whitney Museum helped H&M celebrate its collaboration with artist Jeff Koons at the opening of its new flagship store on Fifth Avenue in New York City. The collaboration coincides with The Whitney's latest exhibit, Jeff Koons: A Retrospective, which runs until October 19. On Tuesday evening, fashionistas (including Ashley Benson and Olivia Wilde) and art fans came out to get a piece of the coveted Balloon Dog collection and enjoy food, drinks and a performance by Birdy. The new store will open to the public at 12p.m. on July 17, the same day the Jeff Koons collection hits H&M stores, hm.com and Whitney.org. "It's really exciting to be celebrating the opening of [H&M's] flagship store and I'm very proud of the bag," Koons said. "Art is something that is accessible, we interact with it all the time and H&M makes fashion the same way."Read More ↓
