“If I could ask for anything this Christmas I think that it would be for world equality and for lying to be banned. I don't understand how people can think themselves better than others. We all have our strengths and weaknesses. And lying doesn't get you anywhere. If we could all be truthful then it wouldn't matter if something went wrong because we could all forgive and forget. Well, not always forget, but at least realize that everyone makes mistakes. That fits in with the equality too. That's what I think the holidays are for- making others feel good about themselves, and being happy. “ --Britttany, 13 years old
“Most of all, I want my family to be together and to be loved.” --   Dorothy, 10 years old
“I just want to be surrounded by the family and friends who love me, because material objects will never give me the same feeling as that.” -- Sidra, 13 years old
“Let's think about the REAL spirit of these holidays. The heroes of the holiday stories embody so many important qualities that we should be trying to emulate.” -- Anonymous, 12 years old
“I want a lot of Hope for my Aunt this Christmas!” -- Kylie, 10 years old
“I think that the holidays are about remembering what's really important in life. It's not all of the gifts that we receive, but the kindness that each one was wrapped with." -- Alexa, 13 years old
“The one thing that I look forward to about the holidays is the break. I get a week to myself to do everything I want to do, I have time for everything, I don’t have to rush.” -- Hannah, 14
“I always find the most joy in seeing everyone looking so content and excited, adults and children.” -- Sarah, 15 years old
“I love seeing my family from both sides and just hanging out, or ice skating with them.” -- Hallie, 14 years old
“I am very excited about the holidays. I celebrate Christmas, but I like to try different holiday traditions too. If I could ask for anything this holiday, it would be peace on earth.” -- Mary, 11 years old
