After staying up late to write, I'm going to need a lot of concealer. But with a little liner and a bumped up brow, I should be fine.
While I've yet to get my hands on some Peter Pilotto, I can at least rock my printed sweatshirt from Target that I'd been waiting for. Plus it'll pair nicely with my favorite Fallon necklace. The only question: what shoes to wear?
After bussing it into the Big Apple, I hop in a cab and who do I see? Charlotte Ronson showing off her abode. Good thing Glam got to check out her pad first!
After my tips are #ManiMonday ready, I head up to Lincoln Center to check out the classically chic coifs at Dennis Basso. Just as I am about to head out, Mary J. Blige steps backstage, and I immediately start snapping away.
Holy moley! As if things couldn't get any better, Debra Messing and Andre Leon Talley start snapping selfies while Giuliana Rancic interviews the designer. All were wrapped in Basso's finest furs and my mind is blown at the random gust of star power.
Uh-oh! When the phone's dead and there's no outlet, you sometimes have to improvise. Taking my laptop with me proved to be a big help!
When I make my way back to the office, I find my desk once again flooded with fresh products from Matrix, Clinique, and much more. Going to have to make some time to sift through everything after I transcribe my Rancic interview.
Whoops! That took longer than I thought, and I'm in a rush to get to Alice + Olivia. Then this comic was pasted to the partition in my cab; it was too fitting not to share especially in the city.
With hardly a snap backstage at A+O, Reem Acra seems completely zen in comparison so I'm easily able to get what I need.
Time to head home! Wait, this ride might take a while to get on.
The day's craziness prompts me to pamper myself with a little TLC for my skin, care of Dr. Jart+. I close my eyes for what I think is ten minutes, but turns into an hour. Time to get back to work and catch some more Z's.
With some free time before I tackle my first backstage, I stop in at CND Mani Lounge where I was introduced to its Open Road collection of Vinylux polishes. Never one for subtlety, I let manicurist Michele-Myhanh Huynh go wild!
