The Cinema Society and Yves Saint Laurent Couture Palette hosted the New York premiere of upcoming biopic film, Yves Saint Laurent, on Monday evening the Museum of Modern Art. Though plenty might dismiss the film as being just for fashion worshippers, last night's viewers (including Karlie Kloss, Nicky Hilton, Olivia Palermo, and Fern Mallis) learned that it's so much more. Before making the movie, director Jalil Lespert met with Saint Laurent's longtime partner Pierre Bergé. "We talked about the fact that I wanted to make a movie about people who fight for their dreams and make [them come] true even if they have to pay the price for that," he said.
