The Superbowl may as well be chalked up as a Beyoncé concert with all the buzz the “Countdown” chanteuse is bringing to game day. Not only is the world on edge about whether she’ll reunite with Destiny’s Child mates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, but she also put lip-sync slammers to shame at with a live rendition of the National Anthem at the SuperBowl press conference. And to top it all off, Blue Ivy‘s mom released a video clip chronicling day one of her halftime performance rehearsal. [Beyoncé YouTube]

Jessica Chastain isn’t slowing down post-Zero Dark Thirty. The Golden Globes winner has been cast to star opposite Colin Farrell in the silver screen adaptation of August Strindberg‘s 1888 play Miss Julie. [Vulture]

There are plenty of cases surrounding Grammy nomination snubs for this year’s February ceremony. Case in point: Nicki Minaj. The American Idol judge’s second studio release, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded failed to garner praise from The Recording Academy. But Young Money’s first lady isn’t phased. “I think that the Grammys had a different reason, that I do not want to discuss,” she cited as the reason for her absence from the ballot. “But I respect their organization and I’ll get a Grammy eventually. I’m not worried about it.” [Huffington Post]

Frank Ocean, Fun., Mumford & Sons, The Black Keys, and Jack White don’t have to worry about that problem. But the five Grammy nominees do have to make sure they’ve got their stage act together. The Recording Academy revealed that all five nominees for Album of the Year will be performing live at the February 10th ceremony. [Yahoo News]

Move over Ke$ha. Eminem may very well be taking your reality spot… sorta. The Detroit native’s Shady Films company is teaming up with Ben Silverman to produce a YouTube series based on his hometown. Detroit Rubber, as the show is titled, is based on two Motor City sneakerheads who run the city’s Burn Rubber shoe shop. [CNN]
