Star Scoop: Chris Bauer Goes from ‘True Blood’ to Theatre, SVU Hits 300th Episode, ‘Star Trek’ Captains Reunite

Fans of the hit NBC franchise Law & Order may go back and forth over which edition of the drama is best, but those who favor “Law & Order: SVU are in for a treat next Wednesday. On October 24th, the show is hitting its 300th episode. We’re still sad over the Detective Stabler’s departure (Christopher Meloni) but the next episode, “Manhattan Vigil,” is sure to send us on a trip down memory lane. [Today]

Chris Bauer is taking a break from his policing duties on True Blood in Bon Temps, Louisiana for a return to the stage. The actor is headed to the theater, starring in an Atlantic Theater Company production of What Rhymes With America. In the Melissa James Gibson-penned play, Bauer will take on the role of a father who is attempting to reconnect with his estranged daughter. Bauer’s last play was Romance, at Sag Harbor’s Bay Street Theater in 2010. [Yahoo]

The winner of season 10 of “Project Runway” is… Dmitry Sholokov. The former ballroom dancer presented a Guggenheim Museum-inspired collection that won him $100,000, a spread in Marie Claire magazine, and the chance to sell his winning looks in Lord & Taylor. Trekkies, on your mark, get set, go! Thirty Star Trek celebrities, including five of the franchise’s Captains, are heading to London this weekend for the Destination Star Trek London convention.
