After portraying a conflicted crime lord in Only God Forgives and a circus act-turned-bank robber in The Place Beyond the Pines, Gosling is slated for a lighter role in a biopic about famed musical director and choreographer Busby Berkeley. [The Hollywood Reporter]

Game of Thrones showrunners may have teased that the show will end after seven seasons, but series creator George R.R. Television subscribers are cutting the cord. A report from research firm SNL Kagan states that “for the first time over a full-year period” cable and satellite subscriptions fell. While the 251,000 net loss is minuscule compared to the 110 million households that pay the likes of Comcast and Time Warner Cable each month, SNL Kagan suggests the number will accelerate, especially with millennials opting to view content online.
