We were baffled when The Weinstein Co. pulled Grace of Monaco from its stateside March release, but now, the move makes perfect sense. The Nicole Kidman-led film, chronicling Grace Kelly’s ascension from Hollywood royalty to real-life regal in “the marriage of the century,” will open the Cannes Film Festival in May. [Variety]

Fox Sports revealed that it is ready to accommodate the NFL if the Seahawks-Broncos bout has to be rescheduled due to bad weather. The web wins again! Dotcom series Broad City is making its small screen debut tonight on Comedy Central. The show, a comedy about “two friends in New York City navigating their way though the minutiae that is life,” is being executive produced by Amy Poehler, who’s already had a cameo on the cult hit. Cory and Topanga are back! Disney has ordered eight more episodes of Girl Meets World before the series has even been given a release date, bringing its season one total to 21 episodes.
