Lifetime’s favorite supermodel, Heidi Klum, is extending her stay on the small screen. The America’s Got Talent judge landed a guest role on the season six premiere of Parks and Recreation where she’ll rub Leslie (Amy Poehler) the wrong way. “Her town completely worships her in a way that makes Leslie a little jealous, considering that Leslie is undergoing a recall vote in Pawnee,” explained executive producer Michael Schur about the fictional Women in Government award Klum and Poehler’s characters both receive. Tune in to Klum’s Parks romp on September 26. It’s been a long road to get All Is By My Side off the ground, especially considering Jimi Hendrix’s estate did not approve the biopic. While that means we unfortunately won’t hear any music from Hendrix’s catalog in the film, it doesn’t mean that star André 3000 can’t pull off his visage. We’ve finally got an official first look at 3000 as a very convincing Hendrix in the upcoming Toronto Film Festival release. As for the soundtrack, 3000 recorded covers of The Beatles and Muddy Waters for the film’s 1967 setting. [Vulture]

Critics may not be fond of Selena Gomez‘s latest work, but her Stars Dance album could make her 21st birthday a most-memorable one. Her EDM-laced LP is slated for a number-one debut on the Billboard 200 when it drops next week; it’s projected to move 90,000 to 100,000 units. That pales in comparison to Jay Z and Justin Timberlake‘s respective 2013 first-week sales, but who are we to rain on her dance-crazed parade? [Huffington Post]

Fox’s new M. Night Shyamalan drama has added an Oscar nominee to the fold. Terrence Howard has been tapped to play the sheriff of Wayward Pines, a small Idaho town that comes under Secret Service agent Ethan Burke’s suspicion after two of his colleagues go missing. Matt Dillon will act as Burke (and Howard’s foil) in the 10-episode run, bowing in 2014. [The Hollywood Reporter]

James Franco isn’t the only one who’ll be minding Mindy this fall. Kris Humphries will guest star as himself on the Fox comedy, marking his first scripted gig—that is, if you don’t count his part on Keeping up with the Kardashians of course. [Vulture]

The “Newest Hottest Spike Lee Joint” has earned $166,134 of its $1.25 million goal in three days, and boasts a big-name donor: Steven Soderbergh. The director-producer-screenwriter pledged $10,000 to Lee’s cause, a donation that earned him a courtside seat next to Lee at a New York Knicks game. Considering both cinema players are critical of studios’ consistent blockbuster backing, this union seems like a match made in Hollywood heaven. [Huffington Post]

Jimmy Fallon is a dad! His wife Nancy Juvonen gave birth to Winnie Rose Fallon early Tuesday morning and Fallon didn’t hesitate to share his delight over the 5 pound, 9 ounce newborn. “It’s very taxing on the fathers. I don’t know how it is on the mothers. I’m emotionally drained,” he joked to his studio audience. “I’m the father of a beautiful baby girl… and she’s so cute.” The Jay Leno successor added “yes William and Kate, we will set up a play date.” Cute! [MSN]
