Shailene Woodley is already being touted as the second coming of Jennifer Lawrence, (who is only one year her senior), thanks to signing on for the anticipated Divergent trilogy. So it makes perfect sense that the rising star looked to the Oscar-winningHunger Games giant for some wise words. “She gave me really beautiful advice and said that I should definitely take it,” Woodley said during a Comic-Con interview with Vanity Fair contributor Julie Miller. “But don’t be an idiot, do a sex tape, do drugs. And go to Whole Foods when your movie opens.” [Huffington Post]

On a sadder note, a normally jovial Comic-Con has reminded us that Dexter will soon be coming to an end. “Our conscious minds are aware that it’s over,” said star Michael C. Hey, hey, hey! If it worked for Robin ThickeT.I., and Pharrell, then “Blurred Lines” will certainly make due for Vampire Weekend. The NYC band covered Thicke’s chart-topper, including T.I.’s slick rhyme—and yes, it still makes us want to prance around in NSFW attire. [Vulture]

With a little help from a special effects crew, Jason Bonham is hoping to do a duet with his late father John Bonham of Led Zeppelin. “It’s imperative that I continue putting together the best shows and take it to the next level,” said Bonham, who performs with NO Quarter, a Led Zeppelin tribute band. “I’m talking to people about holograms and my dream is to do the hologram drum solo with my dad next to me.” [NME]

Teasing Idris Elba‘s voice in the first look at Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom teaser wasn’t enough. Luckily, The Weinstein Company has released the first official trailer of the upcoming release, with critics buzzing that Elba’s performance could contend for Oscars gold. [ET Online]

Barrino is back on Broadway. American Idol alum Fantasia is following up her 2005 run in The Color Purple as the first guest star in After Midnight, a musical that mirrors Duke Ellington’s era at Harlem’s Cotton Club. [CNN]

Beware: Kelly Rowland boasts dangerous curves ahead. The “Dirty Laundry” dame was spotted helping Jaguar celebrate its new F-TYPE model with Gilt City in Miami earlier this week. The celebration was part of a social media competition that will award one lucky winner the chance to drive the new luxury vehicle around town with Rowland in the passenger’s seat. [GLAM Inbox]
