Superman, beware. Joaquin Phoenix is reportedly being eyed for the role of Lex Luthor in the untitled Warner Bros. Batman versus Superman movie, though he’s “steered clear of big-budget pics in the past few years.” [Variety]

After the massive success of “Skyfall” and October 2012 birth of her son Angelo, award-winning singer Adele all but disappeared from the public eye. Today, though, she stepped out in Stella McCartney style to become a Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire for her “services to music.” Now… when’s that next album coming? [Huffington Post]

Speaking of new albums… BEYONCÉ! After selling 828,773 copies of her self-titled disc in just three days and making iTunes history, Beyoncé is expected to remain number one on the Billboard 200 for a second week in a row. Forecasters predict that she’ll move an additional 260,000 units domestically with physical copies landing in stores over the weekend. [Billboard]

If that weren’t enough, Billboard knighted BEYONCÉ the number-one album of 2013. Insert #BowDown reference here. [Billboard]

A reunion of sorts is happening in Virginia Beach. G.O.O.D. Music emcee Pusha T is set to get back in the studio with Pharrell and The Neptunes for his next LP. “I don’t know when I’m dropping the next [album], but I can tell everybody, January 2, me Pharrell, and Chad [Hugo] are going in the studio for 20 days,” Pusha told Hot 97 personality Miss Info. “That’s what’s gonna start off the King Push album.” [MTV]

Again, speaking of new albums… our favorite Renaissance Man inked a deal with Columbia Records for a solo disc that will land on shelves in 2014. [Complex]

Gamers, get in here! Xbox Entertainment is developing a series of documentaries about “the events and colorful characters that established the digital age,” like arcade company Atari and E.T. the Video Game. Episodes, which will all have a different director, are set to debut exclusively on the Xbox One and Xbox 360 next year. [Vulture]
