After their hilarious jaunt at this year’s Academy Awards, we’re happy to report that Kristen Wiig and Will Ferrell will be doing more work together outside of Anchorman 2. The pair are teaming up for an independent comedy, Welcome to Me, in which Wiig will star as “a woman with dissociative personality disorder who wins the lottery and decides to spend her winnings on a cable access talk show about her life.” Ferrell will serve as the project’s producer with Adam McKay. [The Hollywood Reporter]

John Mayer‘s relationship with Katy Perry may be off—for now–but he’s already got something else going on… a tour! He’s hitting the road this summer for his Born and Raised tour, aptly titled after his fifth album that was released last May. This will mark Mayer’s triumphant return to the stage following throat surgery for granuloma that resurfaced last year. [Rolling Stone]

Another artist who isn’t letting a little down time get her, well, down? Lady Gaga. While she’s recovering from hip surgery like a queen in her 24-carat gold wheelchair, the “Cake” trap star is still finishing up ARTPOP, which is set to be released this summer. Her manager, Vincent Herbert assured the singer’s fans that “ready to get back to work” and he can’t wait for “her [to] come back healthy, strong and better than ever.” [ABC News]

Elton John and Courtney Love may seem like an odd mix, to help Fall Out Boy Save Rock and Roll, but both will be featured on the band’s April album. And to announce Love’s collaboration with Pete Wentz and crew, there’s this video with Love quoting the effervescent Britney Spears. [Huffington Post]

Is Beyoncé done telling the masses to “Bow Down?” According to Houston’s FOX affiliate, the answer is no. Mrs. Carter is reportedly recruiting underground legends from her home state like Scarface and Jay-Z collaborator Bun B for her controversial track’s remix. [MTV]

Facebook, schmacebook. Tom Cruise proves he’s ahead of his peers by becoming the first Hollywood celebrity to set up an account on Vkontakte, Russia’s largest social network.
