Twerking ain’t for everybody, but “Wrecking Ball” is… at least for the 19 million-plus users who helped Miley Cyrus break a VEVO record. The racy video for her latest single—which is sexually-charged, to say the least—became the streaming service’s most-viewed clip over 24 hours; to date, it has been viewed more than 72 million times. Justin Timberlake has been our dream guy since he became the best thing to happen to boy bands post-the Beatles and Jackson 5. Though most of us grew up with the blue-eyed crooner, he claims we may not really know him at all. “I try to talk to people about how much acting goes into music,” he said in a cover feature for T Magazine. “How much of a character goes into what you put on stage. You ever sit down with Jay [Z]? He’s not the guy he is on stage. I’m not the guy I am on stage. I am a performer. It’s an elevated idea.” [T Magazine]

Entertainment on a screenplay that centers around Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, the textbook Potter studied during his first year at the wizardry school. [The Guardian]

Batfleck is coming whether you like it or not. And contrary to what we’d expect to see from one of DC Comics’ most-prolific heroes, Gotham’s dark knight will be “tired and weary” in the sequel to box office hit, Man of Steel. [Variety]

Freaky Friday just welcomed the weekend with Insidious 2 doom. The horror flick opened at midnight with $1.5 million in sales, priming it to reign at number one for the weekend box office. [Variety]
