The option to stream Paramore’s new album for free on Rdio didn’t put a damper in album sales. In fact, the trio ousted Justin Timberlake from his top spot and landed their first number one album on the Billboard 200 with their April 9th self-titled release. [Entertainment Weekly]

The media magnate is rumored to be bringing the “Kisses Down Low” songstress back to the series, stateside, after replacing her with Nicole Scherzinger on the UK broadcast. Speaking of Britney, she’s back in the lab! After announcing her departure from X-Factor, she’s set to release her first single in two years for the soundtrack to Smurfs 2. “I have always loved the Smurfs as a kid and now my boys are the biggest Smurfs fans ever,” she said in a statement. “I wanted to surprise them with a song in the movie. The London department store is opening a Great Gatsby bar from May 9-20th in honor of the Baz Lurhmann film with specialty spirits from Courvoisier, Hendrick’s, Johnnie Walker, and Martini.
