Grey’s Anatomy star Patrick Dempsey outbid coffee giant Starbucks to buy Seattle chain, Tully’s Coffee. The price: a whopping $9.15 million! Boyz II Men is back, Vegas style. The 1990s R&B group — sampled for Beyoncé‘s love-yielding “Countdown” — will be a staple on the Las Vegas strip starting March 1st. They’ll perform 78 shows through the end of 2013 at Sin City’s Terry Fator Theatre at The Mirage. [Huffington Post]

The Artist Formerly Known As Prince, who just goes by Prince these days, is set to be honored in the heart of New York City at Carnegie Hall. Rapper Talib Kweli, the Blind Boys of Alabama, and jazz soloist Madeleine Peyroux are among the artists who will pay tribute to the “Purple Rain” all-star for The Music of Prince at Carnegie Hall, benefitting its annual music fundraiser. [Entertainment Weekly]
