Adam Levine has put his philandering ways in the past. The Maroon 5 frontman proposed to girlfriend (and Victoria’s Secret stunner) Behati Prinsloo over the weekend in Los Angeles; a move that we couldn’t have imagined him making a few years ago. “There are men who are f–king misogynist pigs, and then there are men who just really love women, who think they’re the most amazing people in the world. And that’s me,” Levine said in an interview with Details last June. “Maybe the reason I was promiscuous, and wanted to sleep with a lot of them, is that I love them so much.” [E! Online]

Tony Stark is a gold mine… and a multi-million dollar investment. Robert Downey Jr., whose role as the billionaire hero earned billions at the box office, is Hollywood’s leading man. Forbes announced that from June 2012 to June 2013, he earned $75 million, making him the year’s highest-paid actor. What’s a girl to do when she already vaunts an Ivy League degree? Go back to school, of course. Yale graduate Allison Williams is headed back to her alma mater to host a talk on post-grad life with boyfriend (and College Humor founder) Ricky Van Veen. Attendance to Friday night’s “Life After College = Girls?” talk will be determined by lottery. [Refinery 29]

As expected, Jay-Z didn’t need that million-dollar Samsung deal to top the charts with Magna Carta Holy Grail. The “Picasso Baby” pusher sold 527,000 units of MCHG in its first week, topping the Billboard 200 and becoming the second-biggest album debut of the year (after The 20/20 Experience). We guess that statement from Billboard editor-in-chief Bill Werde couldn’t hold Hov back. [The Hollywood Reporter]

Speaking of Justin Timberlake, he’s tied with Macklemore for the most MTV Video Music Awards with six nominations each. We’re sure having the year’s best-selling album, and best-selling song had a little something to do with that. [People]

It’s a boy! Josh Duhamel announced on Live with Kelly and Michael that he and wife Fergie are expecting a baby boy. The Black Eyed Peas leading lady, who recently filed to change her name from Stacy Ann Ferguson to Fergie Duhamel, is due later this year. [YouTube]

More details have emerged from the untimely death of Glee star Cory Monteith. A British Columbia coroner’s report states that he died from a fatal drug and alcohol cocktail. Reps for co-star Lea Michele, who Monteith had dated for the past year, released a statement saying that “Lea is deeply grateful for all the love and support she’s received from family, friends, and fans.” She is “grieving alongside his family and making appropriate arrangements with them” while “supporting each other as they endure this profound loss together.” [USA Today]

In other sad news, Ellen Degeneres has paid homage to honorary CoverGirl Talia Castellano who died of cancer earlier this week at 13. “Talia Joy Castellano was an inspiring young makeup artist with a lot of talent and a lot of heart. She inspired everyone at the show, and many, many more,” read a message on her talk show’s site. “Our hearts are with her family. We love you, Talia.”
