Stenciled Floors and Stairs

We’ve moved on from getting gitty about freshly painted walls to obsessing over freshly painted floors…stenciled floors to be exact. White patterns on a rustic looking wooden floor is a gorgeous look. Glitter and Pearls rounded up some of her favorite versions of the design trend for our inspiration.

If your home set-up won’t allow for stencil painting an entire floor, get the look on the riser section of your stairs. Decoist suggests using painters tape to mask off portions of the riser to create chevron stripes going up the staircase. Check out their tips as well as other stair decorating ideas here.
