• I'm not even married yet and the whole Murphy's Law curse has happened to me personally. About a month before the big day, a company that I had been designing my reception dress with for over a year simply said "it's not going to happen" - even though they told me it was already done and on it's way. I'm not mentioning names, but, ahem, Third & Loom.

  • Nikki, from My Style Diaries is proof that when it rains, it really does pour. Her southern wedding was lacking sunshine but she had optimism anyways, even despite her veil breaking and the bottom of her dress being black with mud. On the bright side, they say rain is good luck.

  • Sazan Hendrix, the bubbly Texas gone LA girl, got married to her main man despite some serious obstacles. Everything from cultural opposition from her parents, her wedding venue double-booked her and she had to change her date last minute (that one gives engaged me a heart attack) and a cold sore. Despite all of the above, she said it was perfect (aww).

  • Molly, from Style Miss Molly went the tropical route when she got married. They said I-do in Hawaii, which basically guarantees good weather, right? Wrong! That day, it was pouring all morning, but by the time of the wedding, their was a rainbow. How sweet! P.S. she totally rocks her reception dress (this little lace number) on the regular.

  • Maegan, from Love Maegan had about a month of planning her fairytale wedding until about a month in they decided to elope in Vegas She ditched the Vera Wang to wear an ivory corset and get married by "Elvis." Despite her groom being in Adidas, she claims she wouldn't have it any other way.

  • Arielle, from Something Navy had a Miami wedding that was so glamorous and fitting for the new Mrs. Her groom proposed on Halloween, but the real fear is in the fact that she got her reception dress ordered the day before the wedding, overnighted to Florida and the first time she tried it on was for the reception. This girl is brave!

  • Jenny, the blogger behind the glamorous and etherial Margo & Me got married in the grandest way possible. In a castle, in France and on the cover of Martha Stuart Bride. But two days before her big day, her friend and backup photographer cancelled. Good thing another talented friend - who was supposed to be a guest - graciously took her place.
