• Breakfast: “It’s really important for me to start the day as calm as possible, even in the midst of the chaos that is Fashion Week. Once I sit down and have my green tea, I am prepared to take on the day.”

  • Seating meeting: “I fly in my teams from Shanghai and Los Angeles to New York. I love to collaborate with everyone to make sure we are all on the same page. Besides figuring out who sits where at the Fashion Show, we also capture the experience for all of our social media channels and live stream the runway show on our website. It’s a collaborative effort.”

  • Fittings: “I’m very hands-on when it comes to the fittings. Each piece is intricately designed with meticulous embroidery. With this collection, I was inspired by visions of renewal and rebirth as seen through the eyes of the artist Wu Junyong and the goddess Guanyin.”
