Prabal Gurung called on the good folks at Casadei for a second shoe collaboration right in time for the holidays and Pre-Fall 2013. The result: all things neon, poppy pink, cap toes and mesh. And on his work with rising design star Gurung, Cesare Casadei reveals that he believes this will be “a very long-term partnership.” [ELLE]

We all love to see those leggy, exotic Victoria’s Secret Angels turning on the high fashion face for luxury brands like Joan Smalls for Gucci, Gisele Bündchen for Givenchy, and Candice Swanepoel for Brian Atwood. Well, for their Spring 2013 campaign, Miu Miu doubled up their VS star power with Adriana Lima and Doutzen Kroes. [Fashionista]

A commendable sashay is in order for the Council of Fashion Designers of America and VOGUE, who through their collaborative Fashion for Sandy Relief, raised $1.7 million for Michael Bloomberg‘s Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City and similar initiatives in the tri-state area. The campaign included an online auction that offered the chance to bid on lunch with Anna Wintour, a stay at Donna Karan‘s vacation home in Turks and Caicos, and the most popular of them all, an internship with DKNY PR Girl, which amassed 34 bids. It’s been a year since the eternally-punk Betsey Johnson filed for bankruptcy and the future of her eponymous brand stood in a state of oblivion. Now, with backing from Steve Madden Ltd., a new reality show with daughter and fellow designer Lulu Johnson, and a new fragrance on the way, she’s turning fashion on its head again. We can only hope that a runway show complete with her trademark cartwheel-split combo is not far behind. [The New York Times]

After Jason Wu for Target sold out, we thought that we’d never have a change to stack up on some of his diffusion goodness. Next spring, that will all change. Wu announced a partnership with Nordstrom to exclusively present Miss Wu, a line of contemporary designs for us all to swoon over. And now, there’s a sneak peek, in video form no less! [GlamChic]
