Style Scoop: Anna Wintour Up for Sandy Relief Auction Block, Man Repeller for Sigerson Morrison, Parsons Heads to Paris

If you’ve ever dreamt of a day date with Vogue‘s leading lady Anna Wintour, here’s your chance. The Council of Fashion Designers of America and Condé Nast glossy are hosting an online auction through Charity Buzz with some amazing fashion packages up for grabs. Bids will raise money for the newly-launched Fashion for Sandy Relief initiative to benefit those affected by the superstorm. Aside from placing bets on the chance to attend a fashion show with Wintour and tour her VOUGE offices, you can also bid on other prizes like a week at Diane von Furstenberg‘s Harbor Island beach house, dinner with Gwyneth Paltrow and Mario Batalli, or a styling session with Kate Spade’s Deborah Lloyd and Brad Goreski, plus more. Man Repeller Leandre Medine is kicking off another collaboration, this time with Sigerson Morrison shoes. The blogger-cum-business woman is curating repeller-worthy selections to be sold on the brand’s website. So far, Medine’s picks include all-pointy-toe-everything and some croc-embellished chaussures. Parsons The New School for Design is taking Tim Gunn’s “make it work” philosophy and re-opening its Paris campus. The school first opened a center there in 1921, but plans to revamp with a new bachelor’s and master’s curriculum for fall 2013.
