Gucci is rolling out more than stellar red carpet moments this year. The Italian fashion house, under designer Frida Giannini’s creative direction, is hosting its newly annual Award for Women in Cinema for the second year in a row during the Venice Film Festival. Giannini told WSJ that the move is important to not only support female filmmakers, but also carry forth Gucci’s decades-long relationship with Hollywood.  [WSJ]
