Expect David Beckham to cover up for his latest campaign. The retired soccer player has been tapped to front Belstaff’s spring ads shot by Peter Lindbergh. An avid biker himself (“What I love about riding is the freedom part,” he told Women’s Wear Daily), he can’t get wife, Victoria Beckham to join him on the open road. “She’s never ridden with me, and I don’t think she will,” he said. “Obviously with four children, trying to get her on the bike is difficult.” [WWD]

In today’s episode of When Twerking Goes Wrong, rump-shaking advocate Miley Cyrus has reportedly been cut from the December cover of Vogue. The “Wrecking Ball” blonde was rumored to be Anna Wintour‘s next leading lady, but her suggestive performance at the MTV Video Music Awards may have jeopardized the gig. At least she still has Harper’s Bazaar. [L.A. Times]

Mama’s got a new pair of shoes… well, I will come Spring 2014. That’s when Thakoon Addition is launching its first line of footgear. Expect open-toed booties, borrowed-from-the-boys brogues, and ethnic prints for pocket-friendly prices. [SheFinds]

Listen up, all you builders. When it comes to your closet, Vivienne Westwood encourages you to assume an editor’s role. “Buy less. Choose well. Make it last. Quality, not quantity. Everybody’s buying far too many clothes,” she said after her Spring 2014 show at London Fashion Week. She later added “Instead of buying six things, buy one thing that you really like. Don’t keep buying just for the sake of it.” Agreed. [Telegraph]

It looks like Lindbergh took his own advice in ushering in a new era of the supermodel. The prolific photographer recreated his famous January 1990 cover of British Vogue for Numéro‘s upcoming October Issue. He tapped Ameline Valade, Catherine McNeil, Daphne GroeneveldSasha Luss, and Soo Joo Park as “The Famous Five” to tout his iconic black-and-white capture of Naomi CampbellChristy Turlington, and company. [Huffington Post]

Just in time for fall, here are seven ways to wear a cape, as interpreted by (our girl crush!) Carine Roitfeld. [CR Fashion Book]

Cozy up to Justin Theroux. Not because he’s Jennifer Aniston‘s beau, but because he’s “one of the best-dressed men in America right now.” [GQ Magazine]

If you thought Hedi Slimane was shelving the Saint Laurent Music Project, think again. In its latest installment, the brand brought blues legend B.B. King—and his guitar—on board. [Tumblr]
