The 20/20 experience: Supermodel Claudia Schiffer is teaming up with the Rodenstock Group to launch a collection of optical and sunglass frames in January 2014. She cites the manufacturer as “the pinnacle of quality in sunglasses and lenses,” while Women’s Wear Daily reports that her designs will have a Seventies vibe. [WWD]

Condé Nast continues to cut back. Fourteen employees (more than half!) at Condé Nast Traveler have been let go under Anna Wintour‘s influence, including five editors, and the entire photo and graphics teams. The cuts are part of what spokesperson Sarina Sanandaji deemed “a broader restructuring effort that will shift the focus on more of a lifestyle lens and the growing digital business,” under its new editor-in-chief Pilar Guzman. [Bloomberg]
