If there was one word to describe (newly-independent) designer Haider Ackermann‘s work, it would (easily) be androgynous. Now, the Tilda Swinton and Saski de Brauw-favorite is giving men a chance to don interpretations of his work with his second menswear collection, which will debut in Paris on June 26. The designer looked to his luxury car collection to inspire his newest fragrance aimed at younger men, Polo Red. “Reaching the youth customer has always been important, and we’ve had amazing success with each of these Polo fragrances,” Lauren told WWD. He later added “As the brand grows and continues to reach different demographics, this is going to be one of the keys to that. You can see now, demographically and attitudinally, the broadness of the Polo brand reflected in these fragrances.” [WWD]
