By  December 11, 2012

Still fretting over what to get your favorites this holiday season? Scandal star, Kerry Washington is here save the day. The leading lady who brought Olivia Pope to life is joined by Mindy Kaling, Dianna Agron, and Michelle Trachtenberg to edit Shopbop’s holiday boutique and help you get must-have stocking stuffers from DVF, Rebecca Minkoff, and more. [ELLE]

Louis Vuitton‘s latest project, Objets Nomades, brought 11 design studios together to produce 16 travel-inspired pieces for the chic jetsetter. Among the esteemed group are Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby, otherwise known as BarberOsgerby, the duo that designed the 2012 Olympic torch. Not treading far from their light-bearing roots, the pair created a Venetian Murano glass that is charged by solar energy. [Telegraph]

Zero Dark Thirty star — and possible Oscars contender — Jessica Chastain covered the latest issue of W magazine not once, not twice, but four times! The glossy’s Art Meets Fashion issue depicts the star blended into an abstract piece of art, with little makeup and styling in all white, interpreted in a painting by Chantal Joffe, and styled to match a retrospective that recently ran at the Brooklyn Museum. And they are all stunning! [The Cut]

Could Rihanna be signing up for a spot at Balenciaga? The “Diamonds” starlet is rumored to be vying as the new face — read: celebrity brand ambassador — for the label now that it is under the helm of Alexander Wang. Apparently, the Bajan media darling is stocked up on the young designer’s gear (see her at the “Battleship” photo call this past spring above) and seems to be the best replacement following the Kristen Stewart-as-must to the Nicolas Ghesquière era. Just because we shy from summer sunnies this time of year, doesn’t mean we can’t get a little shady in the winter. There are two collaborations that you should check out to shield your eyes this season, both for the conventional dresser, and those looking for standout eye wear. Street brand Stüssy worked with Mosley Tribes to design a pair of always appropriate aviators in three colors that bring SoCal to you. But, if you’re as daring as we think you are, look to Linda Farrow‘s capsule collectionwith Jeremy Scott. Think, lenses shaped like the United States and the smiley face, re-imagined.
