Style Scoop: Versace is M.I.A., J.W. Anderson Gets Loewe, Gaultier the BK Way

No one on the corner saw this coming, this fast: rapper M.I.A. revealed that she has “a collaboration with Versace coming out in two weeks.” By Versace, she means Donatella Versace‘s diffusion line Versus, which has tapped Christopher Kane and J.W. Anderson for one-off collections. [GLAM Chic]

Speaking of Anderson, not only has his namesake line been officially acquired by the mammoth LVMH conglomerate, he has also been appointed creative director of Loewe. [Fashionista]

The Brooklyn Museum is forgoing ghouls and goblins this Halloween in favor of a little Gaultier. “The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier: From the Sidewalk to the Catwalk” will bow on October 25 with 140 haute couture and ready-to-wear pieces, accessories, sketches, costumes, and film clips that span his career. Rochas Spring 2014 ended with a whimsical bride in a voluminous organza skirt, and the announcement that designer Marco Zanini, who is headed to a revived Schiaparelli, will be replaced by Alessandro dell’Acqua. [New York Times]
