Madonna x Steven Klein, Kate Upton for Vogue Brasil

Fashion photographer Steven Klein has a dark delivery and Madonna is here to bring the #secretproject to life. While the two phenoms have teamed up for a plethora of magazine spreads and tour visuals, this union centers around a controversial black-and-white clip that some say is a tease for Ms. MDNA‘s next single. While details are still shrouded in Madonna’s mystery, sources say style-song sirens Rihanna and Lady Gaga will work with Klein on upcoming works in the enigmatic series. [Madonna YouTube]

Anna Wintour‘s Vogue isn’t the only edition that’s caught Kate Upton fever. The Sports Illustrated star has secured her fourth cover for the Condé Nast glossy with Vogue Brasil. Surprisingly, we see the bombshell pose in a rather conservative Miu Miu Spring 2013 look; the Henrique Gendre capture is not only a departure from Upton’s usual appeal, but also Gisele Bündchen‘s oiled-up June 2013 cover. While guaranteeing marriage equality for couples in same-sex unions, yesterday’s monumental DOMA ruling also inspired Wintour’s first-ever tweet. “Today’s rulings are a big step forward for all Americans striving to achieve equality,” the Condé Nast artistic director wrote from Vogue‘s official account. “I couldn’t be happier or more proud.” [Twitter]

If her candor on social media weren’t enough, the Navy can get another look at the life and style of music’s most Unapologetic star, Rihanna. The Barbados beauty was officially Coveteur-ed during her publicized Parisian jaunt, from Coco Chanel’s apartment and a Laetitia Crahay fitting to dinner with Azzedine Alaïa… and bunny ear fascinators in between. We have a new reason to fall in love with tennis: Stella McCartney has unveiled her new Barricade range for Adidas on rising Wimbledon stars, Laura RobsonCaroline Wozniacki, and Maria Kirilenko. [Telegraph]

After months of anticipation, we’ve got a first look at Christian Lacroix‘s couture collection for a revived Elsa Schiaparelli. On July 1, Lacroix will debut his 18-piece range for the house on mannequins with faces made to resemble the late icon. “It’s as if it was a musical about Schiaparelli, and I’m in charge of the costumes,” Lacroix said about the one-off tribute. [WWD]

Could #MichelleMondays become a thing? Now that First Lady Michelle Obama is on Instagram, we can only hope so! And while we’re sure the FLOTUS’ account will feature candids of her work as an ambassador and advocate, we’re looking forward to double-tapping snapshots of her signature style! [GLAM Inbox]
