This isn’t your typical five-year-old’s birthday party. Victoria Beckham is celebrating her career in fashion design with an interactive documentary sponsored by Skype. According to Women’s Wear Daily, the “unique approach” will allow Beckham to “interact with viewers,” though details of how she’ll do so have yet to be revealed. [Fashionista]

Tory Burch has a new gym partner. The New Yorker is bringing Vera Wang alum Gigi Mortimer onboard to create an athletic apparel arm of her namesake clothing line. [WWD]

This fall, Louis Vuitton is introducing a smaller version of 2009’s SC bag, named in honor of filmmaker Sofia Coppola. In celebration of its debut, the Bling Ring leader has dressed 10 windows at French retailer Le Bon Marche, where an exclusive variation of the $3,275-$3,800 bag will be sold. [Glamour]

H&M is opening up. The Swedish retailer is now letting students at the Fashion Institute of Technology and Parsons the New School for Design enter its annual design competition for the chance to have their winning collections sold at select stores in Europe, the U.S., and Asia. [WWD]

Break out your workout gear. New Balance is upping its athletic ante by breaking ground on a 14-acre, $500 million complex in Boston. Called Boston Landing, the spread will include office and retail space, a hotel, a public transit post, and of course, workout facilities. [Racked]
