Nanette Lepore knows how to bring the fun to fashion. The cool and quirky creative force has made quite the name for herself. With 11 boutiques worldwide and a glam global following, Lepore’s feminine aesthetic has captured the adoration of women who love dressing up! We caught up Lepore, who will show her Spring 2012 collection tomorrow at Lincoln Center, to find out where she wines and dines, why she identifies with Jem, and what she last googled!

What’s inspiring you now?
Live music, especially the songs that Sam Bisbee composed for my Spring 2012 show.

Where will you be wining and dining this season?
I’m going to stay home and have lots of great dinner parties!

Describe your Spring 2012 collection in 140 characters or less.
Acid Classic.

What three things can you not live without?
My daughter Violet, YSL mascara, and pasta from Bar Pitti!

What cartoon character do you most identify with and why?
Jem: Business by day. Rockstar by night!

What’s the most stylish place in New York?
I love to have a Manhattan in the Pool Room at the Four Seasons Restaurant. Where else in New York can you have a cocktail with Picasso, Jackson Pollack, and Roy Lichtenstein?

What’s the last thing you Googled?
Silencio, David Lynch’s Paris nightclub

Relaxing with family and friends on my deck overlooking the ocean

I’m not French- I’m from Ohio!

How will you relax and unwind after your show?
I don’t have time to relax. I’m traveling to visit my shops all around the world this Fall!
