Style Setters: Content Creators and Images Makers, Michelle Madhok

As the founder of SHEFinds Media, Michelle Madhok is an online shopping expert with some serious insights.  Her digital and style cred make her a savvy tastemaker and now she’s sharing her expertise in print. Madhok recently co-authored a book to help women in their daily quest to look their best–Wear This Now: Your Style Solution for Every Season and Any Occasion.

Tell us about your first fashion week experience.

I went to DVF at her old headquarters on 13th Street and it was very fabulous. They served champagne pre-show. However once we went in we were of course SRO and smashed up against the wall behind the editor’s seats. It was so tight we couldn’t move.

Where is your favorite place to file stories between shows?

The Tres Semme hair lounge at Lincoln Center.

Where will you be wining and dining this season?

I love Barbuto. I also spend a lot of time at SoHo House.

What was your first job in the industry?

I ran women’s content for AOL.
