Suno Jumps on the Fast Fashion Track with Uniqlo

By  April 18, 2013

While Target and H&M dominate the collaboration nation, Uniqlo is stepping up its game by partnering with Suno!

The design duo of Max Osterweis and Erin Beatty combined their signature penchant for prints and experimental silhouettes with the retailer’s Japanese roots for “Japanese Americana” collection that drew inspiration from the brand’s Spring 2013 offerings. “We wanted to something sweet, straightforward, and easy,” Beatty said in a statement.

And who could blame them? The summer is all about ease with an emphasis on color and pattern, and the collaboration fits the season perfectly. Plus, the collection is set to hit shelves May 20th, perfectly timed for the unofficial start of summer on Memorial Day weekend. With prices ranging from $19.90 – $39.90, a piece or two will be the party outfit for summer’s first soirees!
