By  January 31, 2013

Our top Super Bowl sweets and treats for game day are here! Whether you’ll be wearing purple for the Baltimore Ravens, or getting into the San Francisco 49er spirit in scarlet and gold style come Sunday, these dessert recipes are for everybody!

From top left by row:

1. Rice Krispie Treat Helmets, Jerseys and “Go Team” Flags on a Stick
These tasty suckers are cute and delicious. That’s double points for you, baking goddess! In football lingo, we’ll say you made a two-point conversion with these ones. You know, extra two points post touchdown? Safe and clear into the end zone? Er never mind. [Pizzazzerie]

2. Football Chocolate Covered Strawberries
Chocolate covered strawberries are quite the delicacy for a football themed bash. Who said the Super Bowl couldn’t be a swanky event? We say up the class with these adorable treats. [Half Hour Meals]

3. SF v Baltimore Candy Covered Super Bowl Nuts
For those who may have a two sided crowd at your Super Bowl get together, represent both teams with a bowl of mixed nuts decorated with candy melts and sprinkles in 49er and Raven colors. A unique sweet, indeed. [She Knows]

4. Football Whoopie Pies
Can I get a big loud “whoopee” for football season? Too much? How about just a whoopie pie, then? [Bella Baker]

5. Georgetown Cupcake’s Super Bowl Cupcakes
If you’re looking to celebrate Super Bowl Sunday far away from the kitchen, why not pick up some themed treats from your local Georgetown Bakery? Baking’s not for everyone-we get it. Out of towners can get these Lava Fudge, buttercream frosted goodies shipped to them, and Georgetown will even leave out the opposing team upon request! [Georgetown Cupcakes]

6.  Yard Line Cake Pops
We’ll be eating these in correspondence with the each down because there’s no such thing as too many cake pops. [Pizzazzerie]
