The 2012 Golden Globe Awards: Get Nicole Richie’s Pumped Up Ponytail

By  January 19, 2012

Nicole Richie stunned everyone the moment she stepped onto the red carpet Sunday night in her metallic Julien Macdonald gown. And while her dress was definitely sexy, we couldn’t get over how gorgeous her hair looked. We had to get the how-to from her Suave Professional Stylist Jenny Cho, who gave the renaissance mom her red-carpet transformation “Sleek, smooth styles are all the rage,” she said. “Nicole worked it, thanks to the Suave Professionals Keratin Infusion System.”

To capture the look for yourself, spray Suave Professionals Keratin Infusion Dry Shampoo directly at the root, crown and front of the hair. Use your blow dryer to work in the excess powder while brushing it to refresh your tresses. Next, pull up and section off hair around the crown and tease to create volume and set aside. Then use a brush to smooth out the hair on the sides and back and tie back into a ponytail. Take a side section, wrap it around the ponytail, and pin it in place; do the same to the opposite side. Lastly, take the teased crown section and lightly brush it back over the ponytail. Add a dose of shine by working a dime-sized amount of Suave Professionals Keratin Infusion Smooth & Shine Serum into your palms and delicately smooth ponytail strands and eliminate flyaways.
