The Newest Member of the Target Family: Sam & Libby

Though the launch of Target’s newest collaboration with Neiman Marcus and the CFDA is just days away, the retailer’s already stepping foot into new style territory! In the interest of outfitting women and girls with glam yet attainable footwear options, Sam & Libby is set to re-launch exclusively at Target. The brand originally began to offer its designs in 1987, as part of the Sam Edelman family, but as of May 5, 2013, the shoe line will join the ranks of previous designers including Proenza Schouler, Erin Fetherston, and Jason Wu at their new home.

“Working with Target is a way for us to elevate the Sam & Libby brand; one that’s near and dear to our hearts,” said Sam Edelman. “Along with my wife Libby, we look forward to watching the brand evolve and are thrilled that our designs will reach an even wider audience.” Target is set to offer twenty new styles from flats to wedges to pumps, beginning at $24.99 at the on set of their collaboration, updating styles each season!
