The Pleated Maxi Skirt

DJ Leigh Lezark was onto something when she showed up to Paris Spring Fashion Week in a pleated crepe maxi skirt by Kenzo. Beauty By Design reveled in the look, and so are we. The black and white waist-cinched skirt pairs perfectly over a jersey stitch printed turtleneck, also by Kenzo.

Similar to Leigh’s Kenzo version, we’ve been seeing a lot of the printed, pleated maxi skirts this season. Chiffon, leather and polyester are some reoccurring materials. In Think Runway’s roundup of their favorite fall looks, the trending bottom wear was styled with chunky knit sweater, paired with a leather moto jacket, and even fashioned under a sharp, oversized blazer.
