The St. Regis Hotels & Resorts and Prince Harry Team Up for the Sentebale Royal Salute Polo Cup 2012

The St. Regis Hotels & Resorts got in the game for the Sentebale Royal Salute Polo Cup 2012 in Brazil over the weekend. Sentebale Co-Founder Prince Harry and St. Regis Connoisseur Nacho Figueras served as team captains for the tournament with Sentebale beating St. Regis on the grounds of Haras Larissa in Sao Paulo. Over 500 guests made their way to the match, including Delfina Blaquier, Katie Couric, Fernanda Motta, Bash Kazi, Rico Mansur, Carlinos Mansur, Calao Mello, Jose Eduardo Kalil, Carlos Mansur, Vice President of St. Regis North America Carlos Becil, and St. Regis Global Brand Leader Paul James. Attendees sipped champagne, relaxed in lounges and stayed cool with panama hats provided by the brand, which has been associated with the world of polo since the turn of the last century. Proceeds from the tournament went to benefit the charitable organization that funds grass-roots community services for the orphans and vulnerable children of Lesotho.
