Three Standout Looks From NYFW's Makeup Madness

Though spring 2014 is still many months away, New York Fashion Week has us already looking ahead to the style and beauty looks to come. Here are our favorite makeup trends spotted at the shows. We can’t wait to take them straight from the runway to reality.

The Trend: Matte Orange Lips

Seen at: DKNY, Dennis Basso, Creatures of the Wind, Rag & Bone

How to Wear It: Let your bold lips steal the show, whether you’ve chosen a reddish orange shade or bright tangerine, by keeping eyes simple. Eyeliner and mascara will do, and contour cheeks with a bit of bronzer.

The Trend: Bright Shadow

Seen at: The Blonds (bright yellow), Marc Jacobs (blue), Lela Rose (electric green), Costello Tagliapietra (light neon green)

How to Wear It: Pair bright eye shadow with a natural face, a swipe of mascara, and nudish to pink lips.

The Trend: Natural Chic
Seen at: Theyskens’ Theory, Tadashi Shoji, BCBG Max Azria

How to Wear It: Bare-faced beauty consists of natural lips, highlighted cheeks with a careful, subtle application of blush, and lightly lined eyes in brown pencil for a low-maintenance but chic and fresh look.
