A New York City native, Brooke Shields made quite an impact at a very early age. At 12-years-old, she starred as a child prostitute in Pretty Baby. A couple of years later she was in the hit movie The Blue Lagoon. She also garnered a lot of attention for her Calvin Klein underwear modeling campaign. She has worked steadily ever since. In 1996, she starred in the successful sitcom Suddenly Susan. Since the series` end, she has appeared as a guest star in several television shows. She will be returning to the small screen starring in Lipstick Jungle, a series based on the wildly successful Candace Bushnell book. Shields is married to Chris Henchy. They have two young children together.
