She also made a brief cameo as herself in the film Borat. Anderson has appeared on the cover of Playboy. In 1995, she married Motley Crue drummer, Tommy Lee. They have two sons together, but eventually divorced. She later married Kid Rock. They have also divorced since. In 2005, she starred in the short-lived Fox sitcom Stacked.
