Gap just launched its new fall campaign, Back to Blue, celebrating the brand’s heritage with an intense worldwide campaign. In addition to the usual offerings between the pages of your favorite glossies—featuring Girls Adam Driver and former Kate Spade girl Dree Hemingway—we can expect to see Gap’s return to TV and digital content across several different platforms including Tumblr and VICE magazine.

Gap has joined Rebecca Minkoff in the search for digital artists on Tumblr. The retailer is asking for submissions sharing what Back to Blue means to you with an original piece of content. On August 29th, the winning pieces will be featured on Gap’s Tumblr.

But wait, there’s more! In addition to the Tumblr search, Gap is bringing the Back to Blue concept to the streets with emerging street artists that VICE magazine curated to create 10 outdoor murals that celebrate optimism, and democracy. Artists like Zio Ziegler, Roman Grandinetti and Andrew McAttee will create the ‘Art of Blue’ murals to be displayed in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, London, Paris and Rome.

It’s good to see that you’ve found your footing (after losing their head designer) and you’re back to blue, Gap. Consider us ready to fall into the Gap, again.
