Wes Anderson and Roman Coppola’s Short Film Candy is Sweet

By  March 25, 2013

With a scent named Candy, we knew that we were in a for treat when it came to the campaign. The short film for Prada’s latest fragrance, Candy L’Eau, is a three-part collaboration between Academy Award-winning director (for The Fantastic Mr. Fox in 2009) Wes Anderson and Roman Coppola, the son of Francis Ford Coppola, is just that. The first part of the series is said to encompass Candy as the most sparkling and unexpected character.

In the film, the two friends are each vying for the attention of Lea Seydoux. This isn’t the first time in front of the camara for the face of the scent, she played Gabrielle in Woody Allen’s Midnight in Paris and danced Prada’s first Candy film back in 2011. Instead of dancing in the film, Candy aka Seydoux adorably stuffs popcorn into her mouth while sitting between her two suitors. So sweet, literally!
