Emmy-Pricitions

TV’s biggest night is just around the corner and small screen’s brightest stars will be out to shine. As we count down to the Emmys and its red carpet coverage this Sunday, we turned to TRESemmé stylist Jeanie Syfu for her insight on what style the lovely ladies should rock and tips on how to achieve the look yourself:

Vera Farmiga – I’d love to see Vera’s hair down with a very soft and subtle wave (not curls). I think she looks best when her hair has a looseness to it while framing her face. She has such gorgeous eyes that a swept bang would look beautiful.

How to Get It: Use TRESemmé 24 Hour Body Foaming Mousse worked into the hair while blow-drying can set the perfect foundation to keep Vera’s hair voluminous and soft before setting in waves.

Michelle Dockery - I see Michelle wearing her hair with a dramatic side part and soft wave, playing up the shine on her brunette locks.

How to Get It: TRESemmé Keratin Infusing Smooth Serum would keep Michelle’s hair smooth and shiny. A hair accessory would add a beautiful touch to her classic beauty.

Claire Danes – Would look stunning with her hair swept back off of her face, while leaving the length down and loose. Add a bit of volume and a soft texture to keep her look on trend. This is a sleek and modern beauty approach to her classic style.

How to Get It: I would set Claire’s hair with TRESemmé Mega Firm Gel to help sculpt her hair back and create the lift on top.

Robin Wright – Her short pixie cut is a statement in itself! I would like to see Robin’s hair blow dried back off her face with some volume on top.

How to Get it: Short hair relies on product to keep it looking finished…try TRESemmé Anti-Frizz Secret Smoothing Creme.

Elisabeth Moss – Because Mad Men is set in the 60′s, I’d love to see Elisabeth with something sleek and modern. A glaze could play up her shine and give her hair tone some richness. Her hair looks great short with soft bangs.

How to Get It: I would start with a good blow dry using TRESemmé Thermal Creations Volume Mousse for fullness and protection while styling.

Connie Britton – I’d like to see her red hair enhanced with a glaze to play up the auburn tones, then styled into glamorous soft waves with a middle part keeping volume through the lengths for a modern silhouette. Another option could be the same set with a side part pinned using a hair accessory.

How to Get It: I would set her hair with a 1 1/4″ inch curling iron with reverse waves using the TRESemmé Thermal Creations Curl Activator Spray for protection, shine and hold.

Kerry Washington – Looks stunning with her bold face-framing bangs! I’d like to see her keep her bangs as a focal point and maybe pull the rest of her hair back into a bun or ponytail.

How to Get It: I would lock in her style with the TRESemmé 24 Hour Body Finishing Spray for a light, touchable hold.
