What Hairstyles Should TV’s Brightest Stars Sport at the Golden Globes?

By  January 11, 2013

Though the Golden Globes are usually a good litmus test for what to expect for the Oscars, TV’s loveliest ladies shouldn’t be counted out! While we eagerly await see our favorite sirens of the small screen strutthe red carpet in their refinery, we looked to Schwarzkopf Professional Brand Ambassador and CEO of Hair Room Service, Michael Dueñas, to see what he thinks our favorite TV stars should sport on Sunday. Check out his insights below:

Tina Fey – I would like to see Tina Fey walk the red carpet with her hair styled in a messy large chignon. To bring out her cheekbones, I would have the sides be pulled back, highlighting subtle finger texture and her fringe down and swept to the side. This voluminous sexy look is also playful to suit her personality.

Amy Poehler – I like when Amy wears her hair half up/half down and showcases some wave.  I would pull some of her hair back into a loose, clean rectangular bun while letting the sides cascade down naturally, a la Veronica Lake.

Lena Dunham – With Lena’s new short cropped do, I would suggest something tousled and playful with not too much volume, otherwise it will look dated. To keep the look soft and feminine, I would create a deep side part, brushing the hair back away from her face.

Sofia Vergara – For Sofia, I would like to see her hair pulled over to one side with a deep side part. Keeping the look soft, I would showcase gorgeous waves — think a very brushed out loose finger wave — so the hair still has movement and volume, while still maintaining a clean structured shape.

Julianne MooreJulianne would look fantastic with a clean shaped bun, placed at the nape of her neck. To get the look, I would start by securing her stunning red strands into high shine pony and then create the bun by rolling the ponytail up.

…but I guess it all depends on their dress choice.
