What to Wear to a NYE Cocktail Party

By  December 31, 2012

A New Years Eve cocktail party is the ultimate event to go all out. Save the gown for a gala, leave the separates for something more casual, and go for a mid length dress in a style that’ll have you shining bright into 2013. If a more conservative hue is more for you, black is never a mistake . Just go for the glitz with some sequined or metallic accessories. Personally, we like the idea of using an event like this to get more glam than usual, which is why we choose a body skimming frock that not only boasts sparkling embroidery, but really goes above and beyond with some standout neon detailing. That’s two trends in one dress! The end result makes for a totally chic and incredibly interesting design. We paired the dress with rose gold accessories to pick up on the pink lines and bronze sequining of the dress’s bosom. A simple bracelet and an edgy but subtle ring is all the frock needs. A long winter coat will keep you warm on the way to the event, but during the cocktail hour, take off the layers and let your ensemble heat things up!
