Winner’s Circle: Jamie Foxx, Bradley Cooper, and Rebel Wilson Rule the MTV Movie Awards 2013

By  April 15, 2013

We learned a few valuable lessons from last night’s MTV Movie Awards. For one, host Rebel Wilson isn’t afraid to take Iron Man on—in pink, no less—with her own super alter ego, Iron Mangina. Taylor Lautner, whose abs stole every shirtless scene in the Twilight series, is human just like the rest of us and capable of making jokes, even if it makes us wonder where his six-pack ran off to. And last but not least, Bradley Cooper looks just as good in a zip-up jacket and dark denim as he does in suit and tie. Add a Selena Gomez “Come & Get It” spectacular, an Aubrey Plaza speech bomb on Will Ferrell, and a Chris Rock-Adam Sandler award presentation that had us all asking WTF?, and you’ve got the zaniest awards ceremony of the year. After all, it doesn’t matter how many SAG Awards you nab or whether your accolades are overflowing with Oscar trophies. What’s really important at the end of awards season, is whether or not you’ve got a batch of gilded, golden popcorn to show for it.
