Your First Look at Peter Pilotto for Target

We can now describe with accuracy Target’s Valentine’s Day gift to us (y’know Peter Pilotto’s collaboration which hits shelves on February 9th!) thanks to a few sketches that Lucky magazine scored.

Every piece will be priced under $80 and the sketches hold true to the vision that Pilotto described. “The range adapts hyperreal floral and geometric graphics to a wardrobe ready-made for a Montauk weekend,” was how the designer phrased it to Elle.com. And now that we see it for ourselves, we’re inclined to agree.

Both Peter Pilotto and his co-creative director, Christopher De Vos, are excited to see girls walking down the street in their collaboration and maintain that there is something for every woman—“from a 15-year-old to a 75-year-old.” Again, we’re inclined to agree.

De Vos describes the capsule collection as “fresh, bold and flirty,” while Pilotto thinks of it as “beachy, colorful and fun.” After seeing the sketches for yourself, what do you think of the collaboration?
